    POSITION/PROGRAM SUMMARY:
    We have an opening for college entry-level technical intern to be part of a team of engineers addressing emerging challenges in Technology, Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Systems Architecture and Engineering. Interns will be assigned tasks that are relevant and necessary to the successful execution of Leidos Information Technology execution. Leidos will provide the candidate with real world experience and technical and career mentorship throughout the internship, which may result in full-time employment opportunities upon graduation. Working under the general supervision of senior staff, typical intern work assignments might include: software engineering, project management, infrastructure support, documenting test results, writing reports, developing process documentation, problem research, preparing presentations, and presenting test results.
    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    -Business Integration Planning: assist in the evaluation of health and status of current IT projects, support the development of Project Management artifacts including cost and schedule tracking and analysis and process advancement.

    Qualifications:

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    -Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other Technical or Business, and have completed at least two years of an undergraduate curriculum or two years of experience and maintained a minimum 3.0.
    -Overall experience with software engineering lifecycle support (requirements, design, implementation, test).
    -Demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement.
    -U.S. Citizenship is required.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    -Prior experience or classroom training related to software engineering, technology, business management, project management or IT support.
