    Summary:

    This position supports product management personnel in Jeppesens Flight Planning & Dispatch portfolio organization. Portfolio management has business responsibility for a suite of aviation operations software products including flight plan optimization, operations planning and runway analysis for Commercial, Military, Government and Business Aviation markets. The successful intern in this position will use their unique blend of technology and business knowledge along with strong communications skills to assist the portfolio team in defining the future direction of the product suite.

    Relocation is offered for this position

    Essential Functions:

    “¢ Gather, organize and analyze data with respect to product costs, revenue and market trends

    “¢ Develop processes to enhance communication and collaboration between Portfolio and other organizations including professional services, finance and technology development

    “¢ Support product managers, business analysts and the marketing organization with the development of tools and presentations that provide actionable market intelligence

    “¢ Develop product sunset plans for legacy software applications

    “¢ Maintain product roadmaps in support of the Jeppesen Solution Lifecycle Management Process

    Education/Experience:

    “¢ Interns must be actively enrolled in some form of accredited higher education. This includes programs provided by universities, vocational schools, community colleges, institutes of technology, or other organizations that awards academic degrees.

    “¢ Interns must complete at least one year within their institution of higher education and carry a 3.0 grade point average before being considered for a Jeppesen internship.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    “¢ Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent is essential

    “¢ Experience with web based tools, such as Sharepoint, Confluence, Wikis and/or other internet based applications.

    “¢ Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills

    “¢ Proficiency in writing and editing technical documents

    “¢ Some knowledge of Jeppesen products & services

    “¢ Ability to work independently
