The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.

    Position

    Triumph is actively recruiting a summer 2018 Environmental Safety&Health (ES&H) Intern to support a range of responsibilities in a fast pace manufacturing production environment. The internship provides college-level students with practical experience related to his or her major that will enhance and complement classroom learning.

    Responsibilities

    • Collect monitoring data for DEEP reporting purposes
    • Prepare applications to DEEP
    • Perform and document multiple compliance inspections
    • Manage and operate wastewater treatment systems
    • Collect water samples per permit requirements
    • Manage/ship hazardous waste
    • Manage/ship universal waste
    • Manage chemical inventory
    • Monitor energy consumption
    • Perform monthly air emission estimates
    • Prepare regulatory reports
    • Oversee property remediation projects
    • Assist with facility Ergonomic Program corrective actions and improvements
    • Assist with accident investigation and near misses with area supervisors and safety committee members.

    Qualifications

    • Rising Junior or Senior
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety, or related field
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Good interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with various organizational levels
    • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident
