    This position will support the UTAS Repair station Operations Team working within the Jet Fuel Control and Pumps business. Primary responsibilities will include working with Operations Team Leaders and Production Control to facilitate LEAN manufacturing principles within the work areas.

    Projects will include participating in time studies, working with event teams to streamline aircraft repair activities, and working on tools to assist in scheduling multi-step processes and shared resources. The selected candidate must be allowable to work around sensitive government equipment.

    Qualification:

    • Ability to take direction and come back with solid results/solutions
    • Ability to manage daily tasks and meet timelines
    • Ability to focus on results
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changes or restructure of priorities
    • The candidate must be able to work in a high paced environment. This position is project specific and has tight deadlines for completion.

    Education:

    • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher from an accredited university
    • Candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Operations, Engineering, Business Management or related field
