    Background: After winning three USL Pro regular season championships and two postseason titles over a four-year span, Orlando City SC quickly set the standard for professional soccer clubs both on and off the field and was awarded the 21st Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise on Nov. 19, 2013. The Lions played their first two seasons in MLS at the Orlando Citrus Bowl, where they held the second-highest average attendance in MLS. In 2016, the Club launched Orlando Pride in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and Orlando City B in the United Soccer League (USL).
    In March 2017, Orlando City SC unveiled its brand new, privately financed downtown stadium. With a capacity of 25,500 fans, Orlando City Stadium creates the most exciting game-day experience for fans in the country.

    Position Summary: Orlando City SC is seeking a part-time broadcast intern to support the Broadcast Department with production and distribution of Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride matches. Broadcast interns will have the opportunity to support each aspect of production and execution. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT FOR THIS INTERNSHIP.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Assist with game day production
    • Assist with TV, OTT, radio production and logistics
    • Support content creation process
    • Develop professional research skills
    • Assist in gameday field and studio preparation
    • Assist in facilitating interviews with players, coaches and media
    • Develop relationship with on-air talent
    • Camera operation – basic DSLR capability, and video editing
    Qualifications:
    • Must be able to receive academic credits for this internship.
    • Applicants should be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in communications, video editing, production, or related field.
    • Interested in pursuing a career in content creation, broadcasting
    • Available to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere
    • Available nights and weekends
    • Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills
    • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
    • Understanding of Adobe Premiere (or similar).
    • Strong interest and knowledge of soccer is a plus.
