  • Job Description:

    The successful electrical engineering co-operative education student intern will:
  • Under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, perform power calculations and design building power distribution systems which will gradually increase in complexity and scope.
  • Design building and area lighting systems and perform lighting calculations.
  • Design additional building systems such as grounding, fire alarm, telecommunications, security, access controls, etc.
  • Use Revit and AutoCAD building design software to prepare electrical construction documents
  • Shadow full-time engineers on construction sites or for pre-design field investigations when the opportunities arise
