    Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is the most-attacked book of the Bible. We also desire to train others to develop a biblical worldview, and seek to expose the bankruptcy of evolutionary ideas, and its bedfellow, a millions of years old earth (and even older universe).

    Job Description

    The Marketing and Communications Intern will provide support and enhancement for all of the day-to-day activities of the Marketing and Communications departments of Answers for Genesis, Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum. The internship allows students to work directly with (and gain experience from) industry professionals on the following initiatives:
    • Digital, email and direct mail marketing
    • Marketing and campaign development
    • On-site promotions/experiential marketing
    • Grassroots & niche marketing
    • Advertising
    • Branding
    • Communications campaign development
    • Social media content and management
    • Audio/video production & editing
    • Website content management
    • Content creation
    • Public relations
    • General day-to-day departmental administration
    Basic Qualifications
    • You are working towards a Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or Graphic Design
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • You have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
    • You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • You have excellent organizational, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
    • Experience in graphic design and marketing communications.
    • Strong multi-tasking skills needed to interact between multiple system applications quickly and efficiently.
    • Organized and effective time management skills, with a high degree of flexibility.
    • Strong enthusiasm and self-motivation.
    All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities.
    • The internship must be a part of the students curriculum.
    • The internship must provide earned hours that are directly applied to the students degree.
    • Interns must work a minimum of 12 hours a week, length 12 weeks.
    • Interns must be available to work evenings during the season.
    • Interns must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players.
    • Internships do not provide compensation.
    • Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with Answers in Genesis upon completion.
    • Interns are responsible for their own housing.
