  • Job Role and Description:

ProObject is currently accepting applications for a graphic designer Internship opportunity for college students. Interns will have the opportunity to work in a corporate environment with a broad range of technologies. Candidates will have the opportunity to create game-changing graphics for mobile solutions, government proposals, and help in the re-branding of the ProObject website and marketing materials.

Innovating application interfaces requires a wide-range of expertise. Our design interns come from research and data, interactive design, and emerging media backgrounds. Teaming with development resources, interns define, shape, and execute visualized solutions for ProObject and our clients. The process may involve research, info architecture, wireframing, flow diagrams, graphic visualization, prototyping, testing, and analytics reviews. Thorough use of Adobe design software like Illustrator and a basic understanding of front-end design code (HTML5 and CSS3) are required. Prior customization of pre-existing pattern libraries like Bootstrap/Foundation and JavaScript skills are a plus but not required.

ProObject’s internship program is a compensated role that helps prepare the next generation of design professionals to respond and succeed in a real world environment. Internship cohorts cycle per semester, and candidates with successful completion may be offered longer term opportunities.

Applicants are required to be US citizens enrolled in or have graduated within 1 year from a degree program related to the subject matters mentioned.

    Required Skills:

    • Provide written reports, demonstrations and presentations to executive management throughout the internship
    • Must have a strong graphic design background, demonstrate excellent communications skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
