    3D CFD simulation of gasoline combustion engine

    Spray simulation of DI fuel injectors

    Development of metrics to characterize and evaluate spray behavior in the engine

    Correlation of simulation results to experimental results

    Qualifications

    Graduate student in Mechnical Engineering or related engineering discipline

    Hands-on experience in the use of 3D CFD tools

    Good understanding of internal combustion engine processes
