    Job Description
    General Summary: The Bremer Information Technology Services Internship assists several areas within the Bremer Information Technology Services department for the Bremer Bank organization. Has primary responsibility for working within the information technology department in various roles to help support the organization. They are knowledgeable and proficient in multiple technologies, capable of learning a new business application quickly from a technical perspective (i.e.: Components, integration) Bremer has several internship positions that will give perspective candidates the opportunity to work across many different key subject areas within the information technology department including Intranet Content Management, Support and Engineering Services, Project Coordination, Quality Assurance and Application Development.

    Qualifications: Combination of education and experience that enables the candidate to be successful in the job generally acquired through pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (minimum sophomore, junior or senior level) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree. Must have a self-motivated attitude, with strong attention to detail including written and verbal communications; strong interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate actively and proactively with others in a cross-functional team; familiarity and experience working with Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools; experience with office tools; experience in planning and schedule management; effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills and proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment.

    In addition, it is preferred that a strong candidate have familiarity and experience with programming and scripting languages like C# and MVC/ASP.NET; familiarity and experience working with databases (MySQL and/or Oracle); experience with automated testing frameworks (i.e. Selenium); experience with software quality assurance testing methodology (e.g. test plan, test cases, status & defect tracking, user acceptance testing, progress reports) and familiarity and experience with Microsoft Project. On-the-job training will be available for some requirements. Ability to demonstrate and consistently model Bremer values, Bremer Leadership Competencies, and foster an inclusive work environment.
