    Human Resources Intern

    Human Resources clerk and internship positions are available at our Headquarters facility in Springfield. These are paid positions and may be available for cooperative credit. Normal working days are Monday through Friday.

    Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled in a human resources, psychology, business/management, or related curriculum with a minimum 3.0 grade point average preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organization skills, and competent skills in Microsoft Office Suite are required.

    Human Resources Clerk positions are available immediately, typically up to 20 hours/week during the fall/spring semesters with the possibility of continuing into the summer months. HR Clerks assist with recruiting tasks (posting jobs, reviewing student resumes, scheduling interviews, uploading documents in HRIS system, career fair coordination, etc.) as well as provide administrative support to the benefits and payroll departments. Other duties include front desk receptionist tasks such as answering phones, greeting visitors and coordinating fleet vehicles.

    Human Resources Intern position is available 40 hours/week during the summer months (2018). This position will assist in the following areas: staffing, college recruitment, metrics & analysis, HR operations. Specific duties may include (but are not limited to) survey development and analysis; assisting with pre-employment, onboarding and departure processes; project management including the facilitation of the corporate internship program; career fair preparation/attendance; research, analysis and interpretation of HR data; and assisting and supporting HR staff across the business. Completion of at least 30 credit hours in a human resources curriculum is preferred.
