        Job Overview

        TE Connectivity’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 ““ 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.

        TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Human Resources Intern in Greensboro, NC. This position will be with our Automotive Business Unit and based in our manufacturing plant, supporting day to day HR activities including: engagement, inclusion & diversity, compensation, and talent.

        Responsibilities & Qualifications

        Responsibilities would include a combination of the following:

        Talent participants in this role will receive broad exposure to researching staffing best practices and using findings to define and develop global staffing metrics; reviewing, updating and developing staffing materials and job descriptions. Participate in some talent processes including acquisition and workforce planning.

        Organizational Development and Learning participants in this role will receive broad exposure to competency development and integration; leadership development program design and implementation; development and delivery of a wide range of technical training courses; career development; and succession planning.

        Employee Engagement participants in this role will receive broad exposure to creating an inclusive work environment through engagement, recognition, and supporting the TE culture. They will support internal communications, the engagement council, and ERGs. Additionally, they will partner with senior plant leadership to promote events and recognition.

        Benefits & Compensation participants in this role will receive broad exposure in this functional area of human resources. They will support communication of health and wellness programs. Additionally, they will assist job analysis, compensation offers, and competitive market analysis.

        Qualifications:

        The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented sophomore or junior currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences and who meets the following qualifications:

        • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
        • Capability of creative, analytical and structured thinking with the ability to execute.
        • Effective problem solving skills.
        • Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral & written).
        • Strong computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
        • Basic understanding of HR processes
        • Previous internships in the HR function preferred.
