    Essential Job Duties

    We are seeking applicants for a comprehensive hands-on internship experience within the department of strength and conditioning at NC State for the fall semester of 2017. Tentative start date will be Monday August 14, 2017 and end date December 15, 2017. This opportunity is well equipped for undergraduate students seeking course credit, or individuals interested in the college strength and conditioning experience on a voluntary basis.This internship is eligible for CSCCa mentorship program towards SCCC certification.

    Chosen candidates will be immersed into the college strength and conditioning experience and be exposed to: Daily implementation of a strength program run by full time staff, weight room maintenance and organization, several staff projects involving data collection and analysis, yearly training planning, athletic testing and evaluation, and continuing education curriculum involving assigned readings, meetings, and collaborations.

    Necessary requirements for position are a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and initiative to excel in a high-level work environment.

    Minimum Experience/Education

    Currently pursuing or have completed Bachelors degree in exercise science related field.
