        Job Overview

        TE Connectivity’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 ““ 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.

        TE Connectivity has a Customer Care summer internship available in either Winston Salem, NC or Middletown, PA. This position will serve as a main point of contact for assigned customers and reports to the site Customer Care Manager.

        Responsibilities & Qualifications

        Responsibilities:

        • Develop strong business relationships to drive sales via Extraordinary Customer Experience
        • Positively influence to customer effort score and customer satisfaction index
        • Actively participate in Tiered-2 accountability as part of TEOA PIM process
        • Understand customer demand variation and impact to TE Value Streams
        • Understand and explain cum waterfall analysis to manage transportation and line down costs efficiently
        • Partner with Sales and Finance to resolve price residuals
        • Be responsive to numerous requests for information and action: delivery, price, quality, transportation, and ECE
        • Interact internally with Sales, Product Management, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Pricing via telephone, email and IM to support our Customers in a timely manner

        Qualifications:

        The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented sophomore or junior currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Business Administration and meet the following qualifications:

        • Minimum GPA in major of 3.0.
        • Motivated individual able to learn quickly and work in a self-directed work environment with minimal supervision.
        • A clear communicator who is able to speak and present confidently to a diverse audience, including senior management.
        • Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment and with global team members.
        • Fluent in English, reading, writing, and speaking English language.
        • Proficient with MS-Office products ““ SAP background is a plus.
