        Job Overview

        TE’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 ““ 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.

        TE Connectivity has a Test Engineer summer internship available in Winston Salem, NC within the Automotive Business Unit. This position will work in our Test and Reliability Laboratory where our team works to ensure that new products meet customer specifications.

        Responsibilities & Qualifications

        Responsibilities:

        • Work with the test team and product development engineers to ensure that new products meet customer specifications and analyze any product features that do not meet requirements.
        • Work with the system support team to develop and validate test systems.

        Qualifications:

        The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented sophomore or junior currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and who meets the following qualifications:

        • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
        • Capability of creative, analytical and structured thinking with the ability to execute.
        • Effective problem solving skills.
        • Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral & written).
        • Strong computer skills
        • Experience in high voltage DC relative to electric and/or hybrid electric vehicles preferred
        • Experience in RF and EMC; especially related to automotive components and systems preferred
