  • SilverStone Group is hiring a summer intern to work in our Property and Casualty division. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the world of risk management alongside our talented team. Youll have the opportunity to learn from multiple team members, work with our current clients and test your analyzing skills. We anticipate the internship to begin in early June and end the first week of August. Full time employment may be available upon completion of the internship for recent graduates.

    Typical duties are:
    • Spreadsheet Creating new and updating existing spreadsheets
    • Research Online research on prospective clients and current clients
    • Analysis Client/prospect loss data analysis
    • Compare – Comparison of rates/premiums year to year and between insurance carriers
    • Process – Policy endorsements and audits
    • Attend internal meetings report to group current projects, progress/results
    • Client Facing Assist with creating and updating proposals, summaries and renewal packets
    • Attend educational training and orientation sessions
    • Client Meeting Attend client meetings Claims Review, Loss Control, Renewal with Producer/Team
    Who is Eligible?

    Participating students should be Business, Management, Finance, or Risk Management & Insurance majors who are in their junior or senior year of their undergraduate program. Recent grads are also welcome to apply. Academic standards are a 3.0 GPA or higher. Students should be proficient in Excel. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
