  • You will be immersed in Tyler’s successful Versatrans and Tyler Drive Sales Department and will gain an understanding of the public sector and technology industry, as well as gain valuable experience within a cutting edge and growing sales team. The sales intern will assist with a variety of day to day tasks of the divisional sales teams and will be given exposure to a broad range of marketing, research, and client facing responsibilities. Projects may include assisting with direct marketing lists, updating presentations, assisting with tradeshows and shadowing the installation and deployment teams. The intern will participate in sales activities related to support of Tyler’s more than 3,800 employees and 15,000+ clients across North America. The internship will run during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8-5) with flexibility based on your class schedule and availability.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and update the Sales Department database to assure we are targeting the correct demographic
    • Business Development
    • Assist outside field representatives as needed
    • Sales special projects

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
    • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • Intellectual curiosity and an ability to understand the client’s perspective
    • Microsoft Office knowledge (strong Excel or PowerPoint skills a plus)
    • Effective time management skills (deadline/results driven)
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
