  • Your Talent. Our Vision. At CareMore, a proud member of the Anthem, Inc. family of companies specializing in providing senior Americans a complete and pro-active health care experience, it’s a powerful combination. It’s the foundation upon which we’re creating greater care for our members, greater value for our customers and greater health for our communities. Join us and together we will drive the future of health care.

This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve.

CareMore’s fully capitated model of care that is tightly integrated with health plan benefit design allows our clinicians to provide outcomes on admissions/1000, re-admissions/1000, and control of chronic conditions that top industry benchmarks. This is in part accomplished through a high-engagement model with patients that have regular visits with CareMore clinicians at CareMore Care Centers that offer complementary services to those offered at a patient’s PCP office. CareMore’s impact on the overall patient population is limited in part by sub-optimal scheduling and access to care, 30% no-show and cancellation rates, and low volumes of throughput.

The intern will be fully integrated within the team, contributing to planning and implementation of key initiatives, such as:
    • Primary Care Operations
    • On-site/near site clinics
    • New Market Implementations
    • Patient experience and population health strategy

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
    • Analyze financial and operational data to uncover performance issues and leading the execution of improvement opportunities
    • Support two new market implementations
    • Participate in Clinical Operations Leadership strategy meetings, operational meetings, and performance reviews
    • Support improvement initiatives across the following areas: care center strategy and growth, population health and clinical model design, reporting & analytics
    • Support operational activities and resource efficiency within local markets

    • Currently pursuing a undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university
    • Strong interest in health care, population health, and/or healthcare operations and strategy
