    Position Description:

    • Develop a solid understanding of the business plans, products, and services
    • Support the Sales team with organizational efforts and Empire’s 2018 growth priorities
    • Research Empire’s competitors and identify trends in financial, product and marketing exhibits; make consultative recommendations to Empire’s sales leadership.
    • Work cross-functionality with Empire’s various commercial teams, including (but not limited to) Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, Provider Relations and Product Operations.
    • Assist team members with the performance of their operations duties
    • Pro-actively work to develop processes and procedures

    Qualifications:

    • Strong verbal and written English language skills required
    • Energetic, strategic thinker who is resourceful, organized, and driven
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Accountable for all work and projects and self-directed to provide status updates to relevant parties
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Cross-functional perspective and quick, continuous learning style
    • Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative
    • Must be currently enrolled in a 4 year undergraduate program and have completed at least two years

    Location: 14 Wall Street New York, New York 10006 22nd Floor
    Duration: 8 weeks, 40 hours/week
