    Requirements
    Macmillan Learning is currently offering a paid Finance internship opportunity for the Summer 2018. Interns will be provided with the opportunity to participate in work related assignments, gain practical work experience, and network with employees from various departments. Overall, the intern will become familiar with the basic structure of a publishing house and the role of each department within.

    The Macmillan Learning Internship Program is available for students currently enrolled in a college or university, who aspire to pursue a career in the publishing industry.

    Position Description:
    As a Finance Intern, you will review and analyze a variety of financial and market related data and assist in maintaining and updating company financial models.

    Major Responsibilities:

    The intern will work on high impact projects such as:
    Competitive market analysis,

    Pricing

    Sales data validation

    Ad hoc projects

    Required Skills / Knowledge:
    Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel.

    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    Attention to detail.

    Demonstrated self-starter with good organizational skills who can contribute to a team environment.
