    Medidatas Summer Internship Program:

    The Medidata Summer Internship is a 10-week long program that allows for students to gain exposure to the into our unique business, and our industry- Clinical Technology. By being a part of our global organization, interns have the opportunity to work alongside our talented and committed professionals helping them to build a strong foundation for achieving their career goals. Our interns get the opportunity to grow their network, and enhance their skill set; leveraging what they’ve learned in school, while also being challenged with meaningful projects that drive impactful changes to our business. From day one, our interns receive formal and informal training to help them excel in their new roles. Our inclusive and collaborative environment encourages them to bring their unique & diverse perspectives to the table.

    As a Tax intern, you will be an integral part of Medidatas Tax Department having the opportunity to be exposed to how the tax law is integrated fast-growing $2B+ market-cap cloud company. Youll work with diverse and talented teams to help analyze the tax effect of complex decisions, reduce overall tax rates, and pursue business and performance objectives. You will collaborate daily with our tax team and perform research and analysis, and utilize your consultative skills to turn findings into actionable solutions.

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Assist in researching and analyzing various local, state, and international tax implications relating to business objectives.
    • Participate in special projects.
    • Work closely with experienced tax professionals on sophisticated tax planning, transactions, and structuring.

    Qualifications:

    • Completed Candidate Preference Form: Candidate Preference Form
    • Currently pursuing an LLM or Masters in Tax degree with an undergraduate degree in Accounting
    • Knowledge of a broad range of international and domestic tax law, with a passion for the taxation of multinational businesses
    • Strong planning, research, and written/oral communication skills
