    This person will be working in Medical Affairs in Tarrytown, NY. The student will be working in the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) group under Medical Affairs. He/she will help with HEOR literature review, participate and contribute in HEOR research project, including but not limited to, pain-related issues. Specifically, he/she will be asked to conduct Pubmed search, pull articles, and provide literature synthesis. He/she will work with his/her mentor in the HEOR group to participate in HEOR project as a contributor, participating in regular project meetings, review study protocol, interpretation/presentation of study results and publications. The objective of the project is to examine the real-world treatment pattern among patients with osteoarthritis and the unmet needs/disease burden among those who failed or were intolerant to non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs and/or opioid. At the end of internship, he/she will be asked to make a presentation on a HEOR topic agreed previously by the mentor and evaluated by the team.

    • Must be a PhD student
    • Must be pursuing a degree in health economics and outcomes research
    • Experience with MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel. Experience in SAS/Stata/SPSS is a plus.
    • Must have excellent communication skills.

    General Intern Program Information:

    • Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD or PharmD
    • Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid
    • Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)
    • Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!
    • Present to your team on your summer project

    Transportation and Housing:
