    These positions are in Facilities Planning and Services in Tarrytown, NY. There are 2 openings for Summer 2018.

    The student’s project would involve modeling existing conditions for 11 buildings on the Tarrytown Campus and developing Revit families for Lab Equipment. The CAD-BIM Department at Regeneron is in the process of transitioning to using Revit as their primary means of documenting our facilities. It is an opportunity to work with an experienced architect with years of experience implementing Revit. Revit best practices for documenting a large campus of complex laboratory buildings will be taught to the student. This is an excellent opportunity for work world experience creating documentation in Revit that will be used within our department and by outside design and construction firms. The student will get exposure to various groups within the Facilities Department including Space Planning, Engineering and Project Management for construction projects.

    • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student
    • Must be pursuing a degree in Architecture or Engineering (preferably with an interest in Building Systems Engineering)
    • Experience with 3D Modeling Software or AutoCAD and building documentation. Experience with Revit is preferred.
    • Must be personable, self-directed, self-motivated, and able to self-teach new skills from online courses. Must have a strong aptitude for learning new software.

    General Intern Program Information:

    • Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD or PharmD
    • Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid
    • Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)
    • Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!
    • Present to your team on your summer project

    Transportation and Housing:

    • A free shuttle is offered from the North White Plains or Tarrytown train stations to the Tarrytown campus
