    Summary:

    NOTE: This position is ITAR restricted so candidate must be a US Person.

    Software Developer Intern Wilsonville, OR Assists developers in developing and maintaining architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, designs, and implementations for software systems. Assists in creating technical software documentation, metrics, and reports. Creates Unit Tests and assists in Peer Reviews. Assists the Testers in creating functional and system tests to ensure the requirements are met. The project is a Windows Client/Server based flight planning application used by the airlines.

    Relocation is offered for this position

    Essential Functions:

    “¢ Work in a team environment and execute scheduled assignments. Report written and verbal status on progress of assignments.

    “¢ Reviews requirement, architecture, design, and existing implementations.

    “¢ Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.

    “¢ Gathers information to support software project management.

    “¢ Prepares status reports for review by more experienced personnel. Archives data and reports as required.

    “¢ Performs technology research and applies in proof of concept or prototype projects

    Education/Experience:

    “¢ Interns must be actively enrolled in some form of accredited higher education. This includes programs provided by universities, vocational schools, community colleges, institutes of technology, or other organizations that awards academic degrees.

    “¢ Interns must complete at least one year within their institution of higher education and carry a 3.5 grade point average before being considered for a Jeppesen internship.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    “¢ Required

    o Computer literate with Windows environments MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio

    o C#/.NET Programming Classes with 1 or more years using

    o Clear understanding of Object Oriented Programming Concepts

    o Good communicator (in English)

    o Good technical writing skills for architecture and design descriptions

    “¢ Highly Desired

    o Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)

    o Object Modeling

    o Relational Database such as MSSQL, Postgres or Sqlite

    o Object-Relational Mapper (O/RM) such as Entity Framework

    o Services Oriented Architecture

    o Knowledge of SAFe methodology/Agile environment a plus

    o Knowledge with Micro-Services and Azure is a plus

    o Aviation knowledge is a plus
