    Job Overview

    TE Connectivity’s Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

    Position Overview

    TE Connectivity Corporate Global Talent Acquisition is seeking a summer 2018 intern who will work closely with other members of the University Relations team and Talent Acquisition to provide support for our recruiting strategy at colleges and universities across the U.S. The position will be located in Berwyn, PA.

    University Relations Program Management

    • Provide full staffing administration support for all university relations hires, including interview scheduling, offer letter creation and approval, and onboarding process.
    • Build out functional competency-based interview guides
    • Revise and rebuild campus representative trainings
    • Revamp Yello software reference guides
    • Sharepoint site cleanup and management
    • University Relations toolkit build out/cleanup

    Candidate Care Program

    • Approaching all contact with candidates ““ from early talent through executive level candidates”“ from the perspective of the candidate, to insure an exemplary experience with TE. This includes all candidate interaction/ correspondence, scheduling, reference checks, screening, marketing, travel support, and on-boarding. Providing strong customer focus throughout the process.
    • Yello engagement; what is the process/timeline for candidate engagement before, during and after a career fair.
    • Social Media Support: University Hire sharepoint management, partnership with employment marketing team for campus engagement, Intern and Rotation Program social support

    University Relations Event Management

    • Partner with University Relations Specialists and Managers to build out campus recruiting schedule
    • Support the execution of TE Connectivity’s campus recruitment strategy to include on-going cultivation and relationship building with campus representatives and students to achieve campus recruitment strategy
    • Support maintenance of Yello recruiting database, including event management, candidate profiles, and staff profiles
    • Drive and maintain University Relations best practices across our business units

    Reporting and analytics

    • Tracking and reporting metrics for university recruiting efforts (i.e. event costs, overview of yearly events, breakdown of candidate slate, diversity metrics, etc.)
    • Management of University Relations Toolkit

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Business, or related field
    • Previous internship experience in HR, Business, or related field preferred
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Exhibit knowledge of hiring practices
    • Experience working in a customer driven environment
    • Proven skills in applicant tracking systems
    • Prior experience with Yello recruiting software a plus
    • Prior experience with event management a plus
