    INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING INTERN

    Job Summary:

    Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an opening for an Industrial Engineering Intern, for the 2018 summer at our Carlisle, PA location

    This is a paid internship. Hours will primarily be M-F 7 am ““ 4 pm with an occasionally 3 pm ““ 11 pm shift.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Work with the Production Mixing & Conventional teams to conduct time & capacity studies
    • Identify spare parts listing and dual sources
    • Run Kaizen events

    Qualifications:

    • Applicants must be at least sophomore status enrolled in an accredited four-year Industrial Engineering program. Other engineering disciplines will be considered as well.
    • Interest in working in a manufacturing environment is also required.
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

    Candidates must be available to work full-time the entire duration of the internship: May ““ August 2018. A formal presentation to an internal audience will be required at the completion of the project.
