    Summary
    The mission of The Hershey Experience is to build brand affinity globally by delivering branded experiences that educate and entertain, creating and immersive and compelling story of the enduring and authentic joy of Hersheys happiness. The Hershey Experience (THE) Marketing/Operations intern will support THE teams (company and partner retail, global licensing, world travel retail) on various marketing and operations-focused tasks and projects. He/she will provide support to the THE operations/marketing/finance teams in order to facilitate growth across the organization and enable the achievement of THEs financial objectives. Support various functions across the entire Hershey Experience organization (100 team members & $100+ Million annual sales with large future growth plans).

    Customer marketing / retail execution responsibilities to include:

    • Provide planogram support
    • Channel insights/data analytics projects
    • Mangement of bi-weekly customer marketing meeting
    • Portfolio evaluation and optimization

    Logistics responsibilities to include:

    • Coordination of QRC and legal clearances for export markets
    • Monitor inventory in European 3PL and maintain required stock levels
    • Arrange stock transfers to satellite warehouses and co-packers
    • Sample shipment coordination and export document preparation
    • Compliance labeling projects

    Finance responsibilities to include:

    • Pricing file maintenance

    We are looking for candidates with….

    • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills, with an attention to accuracy and detail.
    • Experience working cross-functionally at an operational level, with demonstrable evidence of significant influencing of peer group and above, and strong examples of relationship building.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Familiarity of global logistics, primarily the importation/exportation of goods.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
    • Willingness to learn and search for creative solutions.
    • Open minded and a strong willingness to try new things
    • Understanding of global supply chain, sales and marketing organization and functions.
    • Strong skills with PCs, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Systems SAP, MS Office

    Minimum Requirements

    Education:
    Future completion of a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Marketing, Business Management, or other business discipline
