    Job Responsibilities

    Located in Upper Mt. Bethel, PA.

    Air Liquide Advanced Materials is offering an internship to introduce students to the company. The intern will work in engineering and maintenance to develop their knowledge and skills while making contacts with people at all levels of the company. The intern will be involved developing improvements to the maintenance and reliability management systems, planning of maintenance shutdowns, and will assist in other plant reliability initiatives. Specifically, the intern will:
    • Assist in the collection and structuring of data related to key plant equipment to support improved tracking of key reliability metrics (equipment failures, spare parts, etc).
    • Assist in the development of work instructions, training, and data reporting to improve the usefulness of data in the maintenance management system.
    • Assist in planning key maintenance shutdowns including work scope, parts availability, and contractor coordination.
    • Assist with implementation of engineering solutions to improve reliability in various plant processes.
    • Assist in development of procedures to document key maintenance activities.
    • Participate in engineering and maintenance related activities, meetings, and projects happening on site.

    Required Qualifications

    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
    • Expected graduation between August 2018 and December 2020
    • Minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
    • Must be able to provide own daily transportation to/from work
    • Must secure and finance own housing
