    Your function

    As Director of Asset Management you will be responsible for leading the Asset Management team of our AGCO Finance North America Joint Venture with a $2B + portfolio of agricultural equipment.

    As a member of the AGCO Finance North America leadership team, the Director of Asset Management contributes to the formulation of business strategy and business plans and must derive and execute plans for his/her functional area in support of defined commercial goals in an effective and efficient manner. Development of policies, processes and tools, compliant with relevant regulation is critical to achieve an optimal balance between commercial goals and asset risks.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and implement Asset Management strategy in alignment with shareholder goals, which drives new business volume while appropriately managing risk.
    • Provide leadership and coaching throughout the organization and directly to an asset management and remarketing team of 6 members.
    • Policy development and risk management coordination
    • New business development collaboration with Sales, Program Management and shareholder colleagues.
    • Product development and delivery based on market requirements within shareholder and business strategy.
    • Thought leadership within the international equipment leasing and finance industry around Lifecycle Asset Management.
    • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to enhance customer experience.
    • Embed and provide oversight on Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement opportunities within functional area.
    • Prepare residual and liquidation value studies on programs
    • Develop/establish current collateral values of equipment for transactions in default, settlements, early buyouts and trade-ups.
    • Prepare periodic review/evaluation of the lease portfolio.
    • Evaluate transaction requests to determine the projected residual value of the equipment at lease maturity.
    • Evaluate equipment for credit and documentation requests to develop liquidation values.

    Your profile

    ESSENTIALS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
    • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the agricultural and/or financial industry.
    • Expert knowledge of asset management.
    • Commercial experience with concentration in agricultural or heavy equipment preferred.
    • Hands on experience leading teams
    • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
