    An internship with Information Technology Services (ITS) will kick start your career journey.     Work you’ll do
    We recognize that you have unique skills, experiences, and interests, so we divide the broad scope of the T&I Associate Intern role into skills-based segments in order to best align each professional with a focus area. The segments function as subgroups that our analysts leverage to network and enhance their professional development. Setting our people up for success is our highest priority. The T&I Associate Intern will align to one of the following areas: Network Analyst, Systems Analyst, Database Analyst, Operations Analyst.

    Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities:
    Network Analyst
    Assists in the planning and evaluation of existing network systems. Serves as a liaison between technical teams and clients to establish new network connectivity between the Deloitte network and the clients’ network and assists with new connectivity requests and ongoing maintenance. Works closely with internal technical teams, Client teams, engagement teams, and leadership. Assists in the development of technical standards, interface applications, evaluation of new products and network problem resolutions
    Systems Analyst
    Provides technical support in the areas of computer hardware and software. Assists in administering, configuring, monitoring and testing of application servers for business and network operations. Implements end user and application security and monitors storage capacities and performance for applications servers. Implements and monitors daily data and application server backups, upgrades, and patches. Monitors the software and hardware inventory and ensures that copyright and licensing requirements are met.
    Database Analyst
    Responsible for activities related to the administration of databases including design, control, security, monitoring, installation, configuration, change implementation, and maintenance. Researches business requirements and assists with developing specifications for database construction and maintenance. Works to ensure database efficiency, safety of information, and utilization of new technical developments. Provides assistance with creating administrative policies and procedure and monitoring compliance with established guidelines.
    Operations Analyst
    Provides core infrastructure services including patching/compliance, monitoring, backup/recovery, database, server O/S engineering and administration, and management of all storage in the data centers.

    The team
    As an Information Technology Services intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work in one of four ITS Service Lines: Deloitte Applications Studios (DAS), Technology and Infrastructure (T&I), CyberSecurity, or Technology Management Operations (TMO). Here you’ll get the chance to work with an experienced team on projects that will build on your technical and business skills and help our clients achieve a higher level of service in operational efficiency and business value. Depending on your role, you’ll will have the opportunity to engage in cyber risk detection and prevention, web/mobile application design and development, web hosting, database administration and management, and overall business operations.

    Qualifications
    Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or in a related field (sophomore or junior standing)
    • Basic understanding of computer networks, TCP/IP and databases
    • Advanced written, verbal analytical and communications skills required
    • Basic client interaction skills

      Preferred:

    • Strong academic track record (minimum 3.2 GPA)
    • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, peers, and clients. Possess excellent verbal and communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, and follow-up skills required
    • Attention to detail along with deadline management are key
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize accordingly in a deadline-driven environment
    • Motivated self-starter who has a strong desire and curiosity to learn about all aspects of corporate Technology
