    Interns will work with the Shift Manager, Owner and Assistant GM to learn all aspects of managing the restaurant operations, including directing the daily operations of a particular shift, making sure the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer. You will ensure compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including food preparation, customer relations, employee and customer safety, scheduling, training, recruiting of employees, and inventory management. You will assist with bank deposits and daily paperwork, and other duties as required or assigned. You report to the Shift Manager and Owner G/M You must be dependable, have reliable transportation and telephone, be able to operate in a fast paced environment, be willing to learn all positions of the restaurant and able to work weekends and holidays including Christmas, if applicable. You will work on all shifts to expose you to different operational issues. Some days you will be the lead shift manager (in particular on the days off of the shift manager). This position also requires, by way of example only, the ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 10 hours in length, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, being able to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, and continuous use of fingers and wrists. You must have knowledge/experience using email and Microsoft Excel and Word, solid communication, math and leadership skills, and able to pass drug testing. Previous fast food or casual dining management experience is preferred.
