    Are you studying Marketing? Do you want to be part of a Marketing team and be involved in helping WSB’s marketing department over the summer?

    This position is flexible. Although it is based in our Alexandria, VA office (Old Town), we will consider someone who wants to work part-time or full-time hours over the course of the summer. This is a non-benefited position.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Work on reviewing and updating speaker’s video and photo library
    • Update CRM database
    • Research new ideas, speakers and events using online and social media platforms
    • Maintaining and reviewing database of speaker photos

    Other Duties:

    • Attend and contribute to all appropriate department meetings (best sales practices, weekly meetings, etc) and speaker visits
    • Other duties as assigned

    Essential Skills and Experience:

      • BA candidate in Marketing
      • Experience which demonstrates initiative and the ability to make independent decisions
      • Experience with social media tools
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
      • Experience using the Internet for research purposes
      • Experience that demonstrates the ability to handle multiple projects and constantly reprioritize
      • Ability to deliver oral and written communications in a professional manner
      • Must be a self-starter and learn independently

    We offer flexible hours paid internship (up to 40 hours per week) with rate 15.00/hour, $65 monthly reimbursement for Metro.
