    Role Qualifications:

    To be successful in this position, the Summer Associate in Speaker Relations must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects while also assisting the team with some day-to-day functions. They must demonstrate a sense of responsibility, self-motivation, flexibility, independence, sociability, and confidence. Need to be self-sufficient and have a strong sense for deadlines. The Summer Associate in Sales must be willing and able to learn new information at a constant, rapid pace. This position would be ideal for a student who has in interest in the international, political or communications space. This is a projects-based and general admin role.

    Essential Functions:

    • Major project for the summer includes working with our Speaker Relations team to clean up WSBs CRM database that houses our speakers information. We need someone who has an eye for detail and ensuring that all speaker records are consistent
    • Other project for the summer includes working with the team on reporting speaker goals which includes collecting data from the sales team
    • Day-to-day admin tasks would include researching online sources that our speakers have been mentioned (news, videos, etc.) to be included in daily reports
    • Monitoring the speaker relations inbox to assist in sorting the information but also in completing some of the requests that come through
    • Assist in updating speakers bio as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Currently enrolled at an accredited university or a recent graduate
    • Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and database CRM (preferred)
    • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Savvy at navigating Internet resources and assessing the quality of the source
