    We are seeking a scientifically motivated and enthusiastic summer intern to contribute to foundational research at Seattle Genetics. This internship will take an integrated approach with Protein Sciences and Immunology to build a deeper understanding of the employment of immune effector function with our empowered antibodies. In addition, the intern will contribute to assay development to evaluate the potential of new antibody therapeutics.

    Responsibilities:

    • Use high throughput in vitro assays to evaluate the impact of antibody binding on recruitment and activation of immune effectors.
    • Contribute to assay development to streamline and expand antibody assessment.
    • Effectively analyze, interpret and communicate scientific results.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have at least one year of lab experience in cell culture, molecular biology, and in vitro assays.
    • Must have at least one year of biology.
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Strong foundation in immunology and an understanding of antibody therapeutics desired.
    • Priority to applicants with cell screening or antibody experience.
